After a wonderful day skiing, hiking or biking, you can relax in your private indoor pool or sauna at this superb chalet for 15 (13 adults) in La Toussuire. Later, enjoy a movie night in the cinema room, gather around the fire in the living room or watch for shooting stars from the terrace.
All the ingredients for an unforgettable mountain holiday are here, whatever time of year you choose to visit. In the winter, it's just 50m from the piste, which will take you down into the village and the ski school. In the summer, it's a pleasant 400m walk to the shops, bars and restaurants.
La Toussuire is one of six resorts in Les Sybelles, which offers great skiing in the winter and wonderful hiking, biking and watersports for the rest of the year. Other activities include paragliding, via ferrata, riding and archery.
About the property...
Up to 15 guests (13 adults) can enjoy a wonderful holiday at Chalet Fitzgerald, which has six en-suite bedrooms and is set over four floors.
The main entrance takes you into a hallway with storage and WC, or there's a skiers' entrance which takes you straight into the ski room with a heated boot rack.
The rest of this floor is devoted to the open-plan living area. The spacious kitchen has everything you need to cook up a feast for a hungry crowd, including a large cooking island with an induction hob. A breakfast bar separates the kitchen from the dining area, where a large dining table is positioned to make the most of the mountain views.
After dinner, you can get together on the cosy sofas to read or play board games in front of the fire, or take your coffee out onto the terrace. Or you might prefer to watch a film on the big screen in the cinema room (laptop needed), or challenge your friends to a table football tournament!
There are three bedrooms on the top floor, each of which has a 160cm double bed, an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, and its own balcony. The master suite also has a desk and a dressing area. There are two separate WCs.
There are three more bedrooms on the lower ground floor, two of which are doubles (160cm) with en-suite shower or bathrooms and access to a balcony or terrace. The third room on this floor is the dorm room, which sleeps six in three sets of bunk beds, each with their own curtains for privacy. This room has an en-suite shower room and doors to a balcony. The cinema room is on this floor, as well as two separate WCs.
The fabulous indoor pool (12m x 5m) and the sauna are on the bottom floor, as well as a shower, WC and laundry room.
About the area...
Just 50m from the piste, this ski-in, ski-out chalet is perfect for winter sports enthusiasts who want to make the most of Les Sybelle's six resorts. Between them, they offer 310km of skiing across 136 pistes, with 68 lifts. And with an altitude rising to 2,620m, there's a good chance of snow!
Family-friendly La Toussuire has three areas for beginners, as well as the Snowpy mountain play area. The intermediate zone is served by the new Cote du Bois gondola, while more experienced skiers will appreciate the Vallée Perdue or the red run from Grand Truc down to Les Bottieres. There's also a boardercross course and plenty of trails for cross-country skiers.
In the summer, one of the lifts stays open so that you can take the easy way up the mountains and enjoy the walk or cycle back down. Other activities include via ferrata, canyoning and paragliding, as well as horse riding, archery, paintball or the treetop adventure park. Young guests will be particularly keen to visit the pumptrack and the skate park.
Hot summer days are the perfect time to cool off at some local lakes nearby.

“Amazing stay in la Toussuire”
We truly enjoyed our stay here with the entire family and our dog. The chalet exceeded all our expectations. It's perfectly located and within walking distance of everything. We especially loved the gorgeous view and the spacious rooms. The warm, large pool was the icing on the cake!

One of the best chalets in La Toussuire, Chalet Fitzgerald sleeps up to 15 guests (13 adults) in six en-suite bedrooms, each of which opens onto a balcony or terrace.
And with an indoor pool, a sauna and a cinema room, there's everything you need for a great holiday, whatever time of year you visit!
Set across four floors, we love the way that the bedroom floors are separated by the living area, giving two groups their own privacy. Five of the bedrooms have large double beds, and the other has six bunk beds – a great choice for families.
The open-plan living area is perfect for cosy evenings around the fire in the winter. A selection of books and games is provided, and there's also table football.
In warmer weather you can soak up the sun and the views or enjoy barbecues on the terrace. But with a fabulous kitchen complete with a cooking island you may prefer to cook inside.
A dishwasher makes light work of the clearing up and there's a separate laundry room with two washing machines and two dryers.
Chalet Fitzgerald is in a great location, just 50m from the piste. If you're walking, the shops, bars and restaurants in the centre of the village are just 400m away. What more could you ask for?

As lovers of the mountains, skiing and the outdoors, we fell in love with La Toussuire and the rare balance it offers: an accessible and authentic resort, an exceptional ski area, and nature all around in every season. It is a place we call our own, but above all a place to share.
Chalet Fitzgerald is a home created from the heart. We wanted it to be a place to live and gather, where family and friends can come together, slow down and enjoy each moment to the fullest.
Every detail has been carefully considered: generous living spaces to spend moments together, while still allowing everyone to enjoy their own privacy, high-end amenities chosen for comfort and simplicity, and an atmosphere that is warm and elegant, without feeling ostentatious.
Here, the days naturally unfold between skiing (right from the chalet), walks, spa breaks, cinema nights or long conversations over dinner or by the fire.
